Andy Paice is a facilitator and participatory democracy process designer with over 13 years of experience in designing and leading deliberative forums, citizens’ assemblies, and public engagement initiatives on critical social and environmental issues. He has worked extensively with local authorities, civil society groups, and leading participation organisations, helping groups foster mutual understanding and collective wisdom. Through both in-person facilitation and digital tools, he guides communities toward meaningful and actionable solutions.
Andy has facilitated and led numerous citizens' assemblies and juries on topics ranging from climate change to the cost-of-living crisis. He is also a director of the Co-Intelligence Institute (CII), which promotes collective wisdom and collaborative decision-making.
With a background in psychology, coaching, and mindfulness, Andy brings an empathic and human-centered approach to his work. He is a strong advocate for digital democracy, incorporating innovative tools like Pol.is to enhance public deliberation.
When he’s not working on democracy and participation, Andy enjoys swimming, walking in the mountains, gardening, and being a dad.
